CUSCO TO MACHU PICCHU (5D/4N)

Then, visit the Cathedral (optional), the most imposing monument in the Plaza de Armas, and head to the hills where Sacsayhuamán is, one of the most emblematic Inca buildings built in the 15th century. It is an immense fortress built with large stones, whose transfer and assembly remains a mystery. Continue to Qenqo, an archaeological complex for religious use, where rituals related to agriculture were celebrated. Finally, you will visit Puca Pucará, which means 'Red Fort', it was an architectural complex supposedly for military use, with multiple environments, squares, bathrooms, aqueducts and towers. It is believed that it was used by the Inca entourage while the leader rested in Tambomachay, which is a place where water was worshiped. After finishing the visit, we return to the city of Cusco.

After lunch we will go to the town of Pisac, where we will visit the Pisac Archaeological Complex, built in the Inka Pachacuteq era. Its location is strategic, since it is located on the top of a mountain, which allows you to have a view of the entire valley that went towards Antisuyo. At the end of the tour, we will head to Ollantaytambo to take our train to the town of Aguas Calientes, where we will spend the night.
