Detailed Itinerary - Inca Trail in 4 days in Shared Service

Day 1:
Cusco o Valle Sagrado – Ayapata (A, C)
5:00 a.m. or 6:00 p.m. Pick up of our passengers at their hotels in Cusco, to go to Chilca - Km. 82 (beginning of the Inca Trail), located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. On the way we will meet the porters and cooks who will accompany us during the trip. Then we will start our walk to our first camp. On the way we will visit Llaqtapata. Total distance: 14 km. Walking time: 7 hours. Camp height: 3,300 m.
Day 2:
Ayapata – Chaquicocha (D, A, C)
After breakfast we will begin to ascend to the Warmiwañusca pass (4200 m.) It is the highest pass of the route. On the way we will see different ecological zones and microclimates. Then we will go to Runkurakay to cross the second pass of the same name (3800 m.) and then descend to Sayaqmarca. Our camp will be in Chaquicocha. Total distance: 16 km. Walking time: 8 hours. Camp height: 3,500 m.
Day 3:
Chaquiqocha – Wiñaywayna (D, A, C)
After breakfast we will walk towards the third Abra Phuyupatamarka (3,580 m.) continuing then to the Wiñaywayna complex (2,650 m.) where we will camp. Total distance: 9 km. Walking time: 6 hours. Camp height: 2,650 m.
Day 4:
Wiñaywayna – Machu Picchu – Cusco (D)
Very early we left for the IntiPunku or Puerta del Sol, which is the entrance to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu. Total distance: 4 km. Walking time: 2 hours. Guided tour in the Inca City of Machu Picchu for 2 hours. Optional: 1. Huayna Picchu Mountain + the Inca city of Machu Picchu = USD 75 per foreign person and USD 45 per Peruvian person, this option allows you to climb the mountain and visit the complete citadel of Machu Picchu. 2. Buffet lunch at Machu Picchu + USD 40 per person. Includes drinks. 3. Lunch Menu in Aguas Calientes + USD 20 per person Bus from Machu Picchu to Aguas Calientes 2.50 pm They must be at the Aguas Calientes station 3.20 pm – 7.05 p.m. Expedition Train Agua Calientes - Poroy 7.15 p.m. - 7.45 p.m. Transfer from the Poroy train station to the Wanchaq station. 7.45 p.m. Transfer from Wanchaq station to your hotel. This information must match 100% with the reservation data. These measures are intended to guarantee the client that the Peruvian Authorities will not prevent him from entering. In case of rejection of the document by the authorities on the day of the Trekking, the client will not be able to demand any refund. 5) The student discount is valid only by sending the scanned copy of the student card with the expiration date. The student is obliged to present to the Authorities, in addition to her passport. Otherwise, she will not be able to do the trekking.
