● If you want to ride a horse during the trek, it is + USD 90 for all the first 3 days (you cannot ride downhill). From 2 to more horses the additional is USD 75 per horse.
● If they are students under 25 years of age and with an ISIC card, they have a discount of -USD 20 per person.
● If you want to sleep only 1 pax in a tent you must add + USD 30 per person.
● Rental of a sleeping bag at -10°C = USD 30 for the entire trek.
● If you want a single room in the hotel in Aguas Calientes you must add + USD 40 per person.
● Only the Huayna Picchu mountain + USD 20 allows you to climb the mountain but not visit Machu Picchu.
● Huayna Picchu Mountain + the Inca city of Machu Picchu = USD 75 per foreign person and USD 45 per Peruvian person, this option allows you to climb the mountain and visit the complete citadel of Machu Picchu.
● If you want a buffet lunch in Aguas Calientes on the 4th day:
o Restaurant in Aguas Calientes = USD 20 per person.
o Sanctuary Lodge Restaurant = USD 40 per person (in Machu Picchu).
● Check the price if you want to upgrade the train category.
● Consult the price if you want to lower or raise the category of accommodation in Aguas Calientes.
• Bring clothes: warm, to rest, appropriate for the rain and a rain poncho.
• It is advisable to put all your clothes and sleeping bag inside plastic bags to prevent them from getting wet if it rains.
• Several pairs of socks.
• Scarf, gloves, hat for the cold, handkerchief.
• Optional: Swimwear for the Thermal Baths in Cocalmayo and Aguas Calientes.
• Small towel and cleaning implements (wet wipes).
• Comfortable trekking shoes, it is recommended that they be waterproof.
• Sandal for moments of rest.
• Sun hat, sunscreen and repellent (minimum 20%).
• Camera, Binoculars, Flashlight and batteries (they consume faster in cold climates).
• Personal first aid kit.
• 2 Bottles with water of 600 ml. Then you can recharge it with boiled water during the trekking.
• Snacks (energy bars, dried fruit, chocolates, cookies, etc.).
• Cash in soles and dollars.
• Carry an original identity document, if you are a student, your ISIC card.
• Optional: walking stick.
