Day 3:
Cusco/Valle Sagrado
You will enjoy a full-day guided tour of the Sacred Valley and the ruins of Ollantaytambo. We travel through the stunning Sacred Valley of the Incas, visiting the impressive archaeological site of Pisac, an Inca ruin with deep gorges, a ceremonial center and winding agricultural terraces that are still in use today. Let yourself be captivated by this truly amazing site nestled between wide green valleys and mountain peaks. Explore the back of the site to see a boxed cliff on the other side of the Kitamayo River, once containing hundreds of Incan tombs, the colorful artisan market (market days only). Day 4:
Ollantaytambo/Aguas Calientes
Journey to Aguas Calientes and opt to visit the local hot springs and hit the market. Those who have purchased and pre-booked the ‘1-day Inca Trail’ hike will disembark the train at 104km and trek to the Sun Gate for the first glimpse of Machu Picchu before re-joining the group at Aguas Calientes for the night. Aguas Calientes/Cusco
Enjoy a guided tour of Machu Picchu. Opt to visit the Inca Bridge before returning to Cusco. Meals included: Breakfast
